The capable 29” E-Trail hardtail created for real mountain biking. Born from a love of the hardtail, and coupled with a lightweight Fazua drive system to maintain the fundamental characteristics that make sliding around the woods so fun. NEW and upgraded for 2021 is the RISE Pro E Mountain Bike. We’ve added a bunch of performance enhancing improvements for an even better ride.

FAZUA: SMALLER, LIGHTER, MORE NATURAL.

RISE is a bike that doesn’t compromise on handling and ride quality just because there’s a motor attached to it. Thanks to the lightweight Fazua Evation system, bike weight is kept low, and the 400W (peak) assistance feels smooth and natural. Unlike other systems, at 15.5mph (the legal limit in the UK), the motor decouples from the drivetrain, allowing you to pedal RISE like a regular bike.

TWO BIKES IN ONE: The Fazua system features a removable battery and motor system, allowing you to replace them with a blanking plate. So when the time comes, you can ride the Rise as the capable hardtail that it is, completely unassisted.

AS MUCH AS YOU NEED: Thanks to the removable battery, you can equip yourself with a spare battery, doubling the range of the Rise E MTB. Leave it in the car at the trail-head, or put it in your bag, and only carry as much battery as you need!

GEOMETRY LEADING DESIGN.

Geometry is the number one factor in the handling of a mountain bike frame. RISE E Bike MTB has been designed with forward thinking geometry for the ultimate ride:

LONG, LOW & STABLE: 29” Wheels, big reach numbers, small seat tubes, steep seat angles. All the right elements for a precise handling, efficient pedalling trail machine.

SIZE BY LENGTH: RISE features a length based sizing system. Depending on how you like your fit, you can size up or down to according to reach. Thanks to the small seat tubes and long dropper posts - each size accommodates a wide range of riders.

CUSTOM OFFSET: Thanks to long front centres and a custom reduced 44mm fork offset; the increased trail of RISE creates stability without having the cumbersome handling of an overly slack bike. As a result, RISE blends high speed capability with intuitive trail manners.

EQUIPPED FOR A GOOD TIME.

The RISE electric mountain bike comes built for years of happy riding. We’ve equipped it with the excellent RockShox 35 GOLD fork, X-Fusion Manic dropper post, Sector tubeless wheels, four piston Shimano SLX brakes and grippy Maxxis tyres. Bombproof Shimano SLX 12 speed drivetrain. You’re getting proven quality components that perform, lap after lap.

WARNING: The maximum total weight allowed (rider, clothing, protective gear, backpack, luggage etc.) is 120kg.

Pedals are NOT included. These are available separately by clicking the "Shop Now" button at the top of the page.

The Rise Pro bike will be delivered 95% built.

• The front wheel needs fitting (rotor attached).
• You’ll need to align the front brake caliper.
• The handlebars need fitting to the stem (the stem comes fitted with a negative rise, and 3x5mm spacers under the stem).
• The seatpost needs fitting (saddle attached to post).
• The dropper post cable needs fitting (lever is fitted to the bar and post grub screw is in the separate box).
• The Fazua battery is located in the separate box.
• Remove the Drivepack from the bike, and remove the top cover from the Drivepack. Slide the battery in the Drivepack, and refit to the bike.
• Fit the Drivepack port cover.
• Remove the locker shim (taped to the top tube). This should not be required, but please refer to the Fazua website for its usage.

Also, the Rise Pro bike comes with some spare and manuals in the separate box, in the bike box:

• Fazua charger, and manual (in separate box).
• UK charger plug.
• X-Fusion manual & cable locking barrel and grub screw.

• Please fully charge the battery before first use.

• Please fully read the manuals before enjoying your Fazua Evation equipped Kinesis, to understand the modes, displays, and the technologies which you will be using.

"Kinesis’s Rise is a unique bike, combining the electrical assistance of a removable, modular motor designed to be the perfect no-nonsense trail companion.

The motor’s assistance is subtle, akin to riding with a tailwind. From a stop or when changing into a higher mode, the assistance ramps up gradually. There’s little lag between starting pedalling and the motor cutting in, which keeps things smooth and controlled on technical ascents. The motor cut-off after you stop pedalling is gradual too, further aiding control. River mode is where we spent most of our time. The Rocket setting provides ample assistance for most climbs. Over the 15.5mph assistance limit, the motor decouples from the cranks and has no drag, which makes unassisted riding more pleasant.

The geometry feels good on the ascents, with the seat angle being suitable for most trail-centre-style climbs. Thanks to that long reach, there’s plenty of space to move around when out of the saddle, and the top tube feels roomy when seated… even down steeper gradients, the slack head angle and generous reach help the Kinesis feel calm at speed. The RockShox Gold 35 fork performs well too, with its damper and chunky e-specific chassis proving tricky to overwhelm.

It’ll suit someone who’s looking to improve their fitness while being able to ride with stronger and faster mates without getting dropped on every climb."
