The Kinesis T3 is our classic winter training frameset, re-imagined to be better than ever. Build a winter road bike with superb ride quality.
We’ve made big changes to our much loved Kinesis winter training road bike frame to make it better than ever.
Our biggest selling frame has been updated to 6061 tubing and this has improved stiffness and ride quality.
We’ve also switched to a tapered headtube, so the T3 now has a perfect match in our full carbon Tracer fork, for sharper and more responsive handling. We also have a new alloy tapered fork option, RL2 (long drop).
The hugely popular Racelight geometry remains, as does the ability to cover miles in all weathers, whilst putting a smile on your face.
If you thought this Racelight frame was good before, this completely new T3 version will seriously impress you!

Rating: 5/5
The Kinesis T3 winter/training bike is the first bike that I have completely built myself from scratch. Using a T3 frame and Tracer forks, coupled with a Shimano 105 groupset, FSA bars and stem, Shimano RS11 wheels, Kinesis saddle and Fend off mudguards. The bike rides like a dream and handles superbly. Great product!
Cycling Plus T2 review
Verdict dependable yet lively, the T2 deserves its ‘modern classic’ status.
The Kinesis T2 is something of a modern classic. It’s been around for a while and has proved very popular, helped along by being very affordable in frame-only form.
It may be a relatively inexpensive frame (£239.99), but it scores highly on detail and finish.
Touches like the flared head-tube, subtly-shaped stays and forged rear brake mount really elevate the T2 from the herd…
Those stays accommodate 28mm tyres as well as mudguards, and there are rack eyes too.
Sneaking in just under the 10kg mark, the Kinesis is an entirely acceptable weight for a winter bike, and come the summer there’s scope for some easy weight loss – take the ’guards off, swap to folding 23mm tyres. The T2 has quite a racy feel.
…the sturdy frame inspires confidence, and a lot of vibration disappears somewhere between the stays, 27.2mm seatpost and big tyres, so it’s comfortable on long rides.
