We recently built up a Racelight GF_Ti with custom spec. to match the price range set by Cycling Plus for a 6 bike, Titanium shootout! The Ti framed bikes in the test were from the following hard-hitters; Van Nicholas, Genesis, Sabbath, Enigma and Lynskey.
“The Kinesis GF Ti is a strong contender for the ‘only bike you need’ prize…Super-versatile all-rounder with state of the art construction. The ride is subtly compliant rather than magic carpet but still gives respite from poor roads.
The kinesis carbon fork, with its deep blades isn’t the most forgiving set of prongs we’ve ever used but it still damps out the worst of British roads. The upside is a notable accuracy to the front end. The tapered steerer and oversized main tubes help, lending the GF Ti considerable poise and confidence. There’s little sign of the stereotypical titanium twang.”

This was a very important test for us, as our bike was being pitched against some of the best and most respected UK and international brands, amongst them were Titanium specialists such as Lynskey and Van Nicholas. So, after the dust settled, we were extremely pleased to emerge as Best of Test!
