We visit the third edition of the UK's largest and longest gravel event.
The event expo village was bigger than ever....let's take a look around...
Tom Hill, editor of Grit.cx, was riding and we kitted his bike out with Lezyne products and Super GPS. Purple anodized going down well with everyone.
With over 800 riders making it to the start line, it was great to meet so many #mykinesis customers... here are just a few.
Here is the event rolling out.
All riders start from Kielder Castle on a neutralised section to the timed start of the Dirty130 and Dirty200 routes.
I did not stop for any photos during the ride, it was head down all the way, but the event photographers captured me a couple of times.
I don't know if you can tell, but I was pretty bushed at the finish. But I achieved my goal and beat last years finish by twenty minutes. Happy with that!
The TripsterAT was an incredible bike for Dirty Reiver. Kitted with the Lauf Grit fork and Challenge Gravel Grinder 42mm tyres, it was a magic carpet ride.
