Maxlight

Introduced in 2001, the Maxlight has been a massive hit. We saw a niche in the MTB market for properly designed, lightweight, high quality alloy hardtail frame designed to take a 100mm suspension fork and with a quick handling, responsive ride.

The result was the Easton tubed Maxlight XC, it's a serious frame designed to be ridden in a fun way, it's home is technical single track and fast trails.

For the purer XC experience, try the new Maxlight XC pro2, with a longer top tube and made from advanced Hydroformed, Kinesium tubing and new carbon seat stays, the XC Pro2 is a lightweight XC frame designed for an all day ride or flat out competition.

Or try the new 'pha5e' hardtail, it's designed for 'Radical XC', point the bike down hill, let the fork take the hits and float the rear end over the bumps, then ride up ready for the next drop! The geometry is for a 135 > 150mm travel fork, the new crop of adjustable travel suspension forks are the ideal partners for this frame. We called it the 'pha5e' because it marks a new phase in design and technology for Kinesis UK and the '5' in the word hints at the fork performance available...

The latest Maxlight is the XC>120 is pushing the boundries once again, and represents the latest thinking in MTB design.....

Check the reviews and you'll see that the magazine testers can't rate our range of Maxlight frames too highly, click on a website like chainreactioncycles.com or bikemagic.com and you will see nothing but praise... enough said.
