Steve is owner of local bike café STANS BIKE SHACK in Partridge Green, West Sussex, where Upgrade Bikes, home of Kinesis UK, are based.
A lifelong cycling fan, Steve has more recently got massively back into his road cycling and STANS BIKE SHACK has offered him a lifestyle business where he can extend his cycling time around his work.
This year he increased his cycling miles and higher mileage goals, recently completing the “Maratona dles Dolomites” ultra-sportive in Italy.
In his expansive training around Partridge Green, Steve has literally run out of roads to train on. He has covered every combination in a wide radius from where he is based.
There has been a strong desire for another bike in Steve’s stable. A bike that can expand his local horizons, discover new routes and places, join known roads with bridleways and gravel tracks and make new routes in the process, all with doubling as a winter training bike. The Kinesis Tripster AT is that Bike.
Hearing directly from Rory Hitchens and Bruce Dalton at Upgrade, over the last eight months of development, just how exciting the Tripster AT was going to be, Steve was ready to jump in (with permission from the wife) and place the very first order for the new model.
